I met Adams at a signing at the University of Minnesota bookstore one year in college. I LOVED the BBC television miniseries, and I even bought the comic book adaptations of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which I forgot to bring to the signing --;. He was an incredibly fast signer, so I had enough time to go back and forth to the lineup 2 more times to get some books signed for my friends too!
